Software and cloud engineer, Chicago area

I'm a software and cloud engineer based in the Chicago area. For the past seven years, I've built web applications and backend APIs across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud using Java, Python, and TypeScript. I handle the entire lifecycle, from infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes to CI/CD pipelines and on-call rotations.

My career includes a role as a software engineer at 84.51° in Chicago, along with earlier roles at Accenture, OpenText, and Texas Instruments.

I'm transitioning into cybersecurity and research. I hold an M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of the Cordilleras in the Philippines, and ISC2 CC, CompTIA CySA+, and PenTest+ certifications. I write about emerging security trends, engineering, software design, and tech news that catches my attention.

I'm always open to discussing cloud security, research, or potential collaborations. Reach out on LinkedIn or check out my work on GitHub.
